Lived Experience Workforce Supervision

Approved to provide supervision under the "ACCESS TO SUPERVISION PROJECT.”

I am a lived experience advocate and eating disorder counsellor. I have worked as a peer worker and counsellor in both public and private mental health services. I use a blend of lived experience with clinical intervention in my private practice. I am passionate about supporting the lived experience workforce to grow and build confidence in themselves.

My approach to supervision is empowering supervisees to see the immense skill and knowledge they bring to their role. Build upon how they integrate their lived experience into their roles, as well as expanding their skills in supporting people and working within a multidisciplinary team. Supporting supervisees to explore and sit with the difficult aspects of lived experience work, managing difficult workplace dynamics and building a professional identity.
